Calendar Girl Quilt

What so "Neil Sedaka" and "Quilted Quickies" have in common?...."Calendar Girl"

Greetings! I’m so honored to participate again in Holly Holderman’s dress blog event. Lakehouse fabrics are some of my favorite fabrics! I love the way Holly captures color on cloth! Always bright, crisp and clear! So “thank you” Holly!

When I received the dress panels, I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do with them. So, I laid the panels in my living room for a couple of days and would catch glimpses of the little dresses throughout the day while walking by. I was at my quilt shop, filling some web orders and a light bulb went off in my head! “Twelve little dresses - How many months in a year?...Twelve!” And that’s how the “Calendar Girl” quilt came to be. If you are familiar with my Quilted Quickies patterns, then you probably know that I love doing seasonal designs. So this idea really made sense to me.

The “Calendar Girl” quilt has a very simple design layout embellished with buttons, ribbons, embroidery, and applique...this quilt will surely make any little girl smile everyday of the year. So sit back and take an entertaining look at Quilted Quickies “Calendar Girl” Quilt. We are taking pre-orders for this quilt kit on our web site (see details below).

I hope you enjoyed the movie! If you'd like to view our movie on a bigger screen click here.
